PLAYFUL PERSPECTIVES

“My playful paintings and illustrations provide the viewer a moment to be immersed in an underlying sense of calm and wonder. These non-traditional perspectives explore surearl bird’s eye perspectives and energy. I explore composition, line and colors while providing images as if looking through a morning dew drop, to depicting feelings of flight and space from above or at ground level

My evolving images provide the viewer a peaceful escape. As I create it is rooted in play which allows for a calming image to immerge. I experiment with techniques that provide unexpected effects for my imagination. I work intuitively with either a wet into wet oil paints, applying textured acrylics with a palette knife on canvas, or loose calligraphic line drawings.

My images symbolize the hope, wisdom, loyalty and the love that birds embody with my swooping brush marks, playful perspectives and relief sculptures. My art adventures continue with canvas, paper, and fabric designs, conducting weekly lessons & workshops, from my studio located North of Dallas.” A donation is made to the relevant conservation organization from every art sale.”

Connecting Flight by Sandra Mucha

Inspiration

Sandra Mucha is a Dallas Based artist who was born in Buffalo,NY and grew up in the whirling blizzards of western New York to the melting and sometimes visually warping flatlands of North Texas summers.

Sandra’ interest in bending shapes started at an early age. She recalls the first time twisting and stretching a transferred newspaper comic with Silly Putty. Her curvilinear images depict resilient when exposed to storms, or calming moments experienced through migratory habits.

Sandra is an award winning fine artist and textile designer and instructor at a national level. She creates and teaches online art lessons inspired by her style. When she is not in the studio she loves adventuring into nature north of Dallas,TX with her 11 old son who inspires her every day.”

Teaching

I have loved teaching art and step-by-step instructions for many years. At a young age I wanted to learn more about art, but was too shy or worried about creating the perfect image. Today, I enjoy guiding and helping students increase their artistic confidence and habits from my friendly and secure virtual art studio. I present lessons inspired by my own playful use of line and color, while guiding others to see where their creativity will take them. Ten minutes before each Monday class begins, students are welcome to discuss art contest,(list available in thier online curriculum). Contest guidance based on my five consecutive years of having winning students.
