Day 12 is almost complete. The business of raising our 8 yr old son is always my first priority. Once he is asleep for the day, I will continue this City of Lines series. ..And then, it will be time to start day 13 to stay on track.

Day 10 and I am finding inspiration right outside my studio window. I do feel the difference painting my clouds after yesterday’s cloud study. As well as these 30 paintings in 30 days typically make for some interesting learnings. Location: Richardson, TX
Switching gears today to take gain a better understanding of our clouds in the area this February. Winters clouds seem to provide a slightly different structure and movement than our warmer seasons. Location: Richardson, TX
This might be the start of a new series. Taking a break from my bright snowscape paintings. Today, I was inspired by the many crows that migrate to our region each winter. Location: Richardson, TX
Continuing my snowscape series, featuring a rather large snow drift with more portraits of trees surrounding it. Today’s inspiration comes from a back corner located behind my in-law’s house. This area catches the wind gust swirling back out creating this large drift. Location: Ellendale, MN
Thank you for following this journey thus far of my various snowscapes. Initially, I felt 10 snow scenes might be enough for this series. We will see when I arrive at that total on this Friday the 10th.
